Are you drinking enough water?
Most people have heard that you can survive more days without food than water, yet people consistently and consciously eat more regularly than they drink water. If you ask a person how often they ate that day, they couple most likely answer you with some details, however if you asked them "How much water have you drank today?" many would have no idea.
Drinking water and staying hydrated plays an important role in your over all health and well being. Optimally our body is meant to largely be made of water. When it is low in water, it starts to shut off water to the less needed parts, like the pancreas, to make sure the most important parts of the body, like the brain are staying hydrated. There is a theory that diabetes is linked to dehydrations.

Through the years I have heard of different formulas you can use to find out what the "perfect" amount of water is for a person of your weight. There are multiple places on the internet you can find this information. However I don't feel there is one size fits all for anyone, so I would suggest using it as a guideline, and then use your intuition on what is best for you. Even though water is essential for health, some people need to monitor how much water they drink, such as people on dialysis. Tap in and see what is best for you.
Over the years many people have shared that when they drink water they make multiple trips to the bathroom so they limit their water. Think of a plant, when it is dry when you first try to water it the water runs through, the more you water it the more water is absorbed by the plant. Humans are the same, if you have been dehydrated for long periods of time, you may have more trips to the loo initially as your body starts to rehydrate itself.
Not all water is created equally either. Some is high in chlorine or chemicals and toxins which would not be the best. There is also structured water, that has the optimal shape to easily enter the cells, like a round peg going into a round hole instead of a square peg going in a round hole. I have been drinking structured water for 12 years and love it. If you are interested in learning more and possibly getting some, send me a message (text only) 403-392-6885 and I share some options with you.
I have a specific water combination I like to do, I add a bit of blue water, this helps me release data not longer serving, add some liquid minerals, structured water and lemon juice. I also put a water bottle crystal that I had my sister make more me with 3 gems and a crystal on it. I feel that the the 3 gems energy is added to my water and the crystal adds rainbow energy to it, getting rid of stagnant energy. Anyone interested in purchasing one for themselves, please contact me and I will get you in touch with my sister.
I heard many years ago that our blood also has a specific ratio of salt to water as well. So if you are not getting good high quality sea salt, your body dumps water to retain homeostatic of your blood.
Getting in the habit of drinking water is really the best way I have found to stay hydrated. There are apps to send a message to remind you to drink water. Keeping water near you is a great way to help your body stay hydrated as well.
A quick note, coffee and tea do not count as part of your water intake.
Sending you much love and light
